There were nine other people that made recordings in my former property.

I put a method in place to ensure the recorders could not be tampered with.

A friend of mine gave the keys to my former house to one of the people who went to the property.

The locks were changed to ensure that they had the only keys to the building. After that, a strict protocol was followed.

When a person (or group of people) went to the property, they were given the only keys to the house and four voice recorders.

Each person (or group of people) would place the four voice recorders in the same locations in the house.

By using four voice recorders in different areas of the house, we could compare the recordings.

This meant we could establish which noises were coming from outside the house, and which were coming from the basement.

The police did not speak to any of these people, but the people did share their experiences in a 45‑minute video that I made.
